Radio Spectrum

The Public Utilities Commission is responsible for the regulation of the telecommunications sector in The Bahamas in accordance with the Public Utilities Commission Act, 1993 and the Public Utilities Commission (Amendment) Act, 1999. Radiocommunication licences are granted or made available by the Commission in accordance with section 30 of the Telecommunications Act, 1999.
